Dutch version of "The Devil is Coming"

When everyone thought that the old Dutch man had been reduced to a Hollywood business machine, just like Speer's "Schindler's List", he gave us another surprise.

The film discusses betrayal, friendship, family affection, etc. in war more from the perspective of human nature, and to some extent it feels a bit like "The Devil is Coming".

In fact, many Dutch people are still reluctant to face that period of history.

Especially at the end, the heroine who thought she had escaped to Xanadu to become a rural female teacher, entered the quagmire of another war in a blink of an eye.

The common people are suffering.
