Sometimes too deliberately looking for it will often end in disappointment, which really reflects the saying of the thousand-year-old Zen - what can be met but not sought.
In my short 20-year life, I have been fortunate enough to have such an experience several times. Every time I sighed the mystery of fate, and then let it go. I don’t know if fate turned a small turn at that moment go to the other side.
The last time I still remember clearly.
Life is always the most unpredictable but persistently exploring thing. Life is too complicated to be summed up in any language. It is often some details and some trivial feelings that constitute our clearest memory of life. A solid grasp, a sudden understanding, and then the slightly raised corner of the mouth, the inner clarity.
Life is a play, so a movie is not necessarily a reality. In the course of its hundred years, the film has undergone several major changes, from the initial rough but full of fantasy, to refined, but also produces a lot of unnecessary panic and formality. A hundred years is enough for a technology to mature, but a hundred years later, people are still repeating the same topic - life.
Movies that describe life often don’t need any complicated advanced technology, all they need is a heart that can perceive and appreciate life. They will not be majestic or bizarre, but they will always allow us to think quietly and fall asleep. . There aren't many good movies like this, I'm always looking for it, but it seems. . . . . .
So, late at night, I once again sighed the thousand-year-old Zen.
It was a movie I had heard of the name, and maybe it passed me by several times, but maybe, fate would rather let me run into this movie at that time. Anyway, it's the kind of light tone, clean thinking, simple plot, no guesswork, just waiting quietly for what's going to happen, maybe there's nothing amazing about the whole movie, But that kind of smoothness, that kind of dullness, finally made me hopeless and sunk.
It is this movie, "under the tuscan sun", that depicts life so realistically, yet it hits my soul deeply. Francis in the film also accidentally bumped into the old dilapidated house. For a person wandering in a foreign country, it is not suitable to fall in love with any local person or thing, but life is life, no one can say for sure, so everything Francis, who was in a mess, impulsively bought the old house with almost all his money.
The story officially begins.
On the first night, the lonely Francis tried to fall asleep alone in the same lonely old house, but the close storm and lightning pushed her to the brink of collapse again. The helpless woman could only pray to the Virgin at the head of the bed, and then In the next shot, we see the Tuscan sun, so warm.
Next, inevitably, Francis found four people to help her renovate the crumbling house, but this group of people also came from foreign countries. So, the friction, warmth, bitterness and sweetness of life are staged together in this small town. Meet some people, miss some people, gain something, lose something, life seems complete. Allow me to summarize most of the film as above, because I cannot describe life.
In the end, all three of Francis's wishes when he first came to Tuscany were fulfilled, although not as she originally imagined, but so what? life, can't tell.
