The picture is an old brown-tone film with the faces of the characters all wooden.
It doesn't seem to be a very good-looking western film, but it has an attractive temperament. When
I think of it, it is probably the so-called British low-key
look at the movie. I thought the ending would be an uninhibited sailor who would form a new family with his mother and son. The perfect ending , of course, didn't. It's great
that the whole film's tone is completely dominated by family love . It is truly breathtaking beauty. Scene 1: The day before the bet deadline, Frankie ran up to the hillside and sat down in anticipation. Looking at the dark blue port under my feet, I was in a daze. In the distance are rolling hills. The back of the boy wearing a dark brown-green coat is in contrast and harmony with the colorful containers, dark blue waters, pale green hills and yellow-green grass around him. The wind is blowing. This is a slightly grey picture. Shot 2: "Dad" teaches Frankie to throw stones. The background music is damien rice's delicate. The screen is brownish. The black champion stone was not thrown. But both are happy. The seaside dams and the rocky beaches all cheered together silently. ...... The whole film can only be divided into day and night. The sky in England is always grey. The British-style family love is silver and gray as warm as moonlight, regardless of day and night.
