Ying-kun's troubles
Ying-kun has three troubles. One is that he is a "robot", but because he promised his mother, he can't tell others. Second, when grandma was taken away by the man in white, she told her the purpose of survival, but she didn't (couldn't) hear it clearly, so she was always troubled by it. The third is to kill those white-clothed people who took away grandma, but couldn't do it because of sympathy. The "seven deadly sins" (sympathy, sadness, heartbeat, hesitation, fantasy, guilt and gratitude) that cannot be observed are really difficult to observe. .
After being sent to a mental hospital, Yingjun meets Yishun, a strange man who specializes in stealing other people's things. Although he stole his "Thursday" (underpants) inexplicably, Yingjun still asked him for help because of the trouble.
The thief Yishun Yishun
was abandoned by his mother when he was a child, and he felt very insecure. He is not good at socializing in life and is often ignored by people, so that he feels that he will gradually become smaller until he disappears. He started stealing other people's things, started brushing his teeth constantly, and continued to prove his existence.
Yingjun asked him for help, of course he was bound to do so. Some taste of love at first sight, otherwise why go to steal other people's "Thursday". In addition, Lin Xiujing (Yingjun) is so small that it is easy for people to want to protect her. He finds that Young-kun's biggest problem is skipping meals, but stealing her machine-talking dentures or empathy won't solve the problem. (Same for other patients, stealing their "illness" doesn't set them free.) Understand, respect, and add appropriate ways, rather than taking blunt changes for granted. So Yishun "invented" the rice tube, allowing Yingjun to replenish energy smoothly. After winning the trust and getting closer, the natural emotional expression gradually got rid of the so-called "seven deadly sins".
While helping Yingjun, Yishun also found himself.
Director Park Chan-wook has been emphasizing that he is shooting a commercial film this time, a romance film starring two idols. Therefore, the mental hospital in the movie is not a mental hospital in reality. It is full of all kinds of whimsy, all kinds of warm and humorous details and imagination.
mental hospital and patients
The mental hospital is still relatively democratic, with a large courtyard where patients can move freely. Doctors are also lovable, not stubborn, hateful elements who stifle individuality and freedom. The patients were hysterical at times, but they were actually lovely. They just have a different way of thinking or behaving than others, unable to escape from the past or fascinated by fantasies. Because of people's so-called standard norms and self-righteousness, they are outliers. The massacre and the first bite of food imagined in the "big scene" are one of the few "big scenes" in the film
.
One is cheerful and wanton, the combination of imagination and vision; the other is delicate and subtle, humorous and warm. One movement and one stillness add atmosphere and entertainment to the film.
Flight socks
Comparable to rice tubes, flight socks are made of mint and persimmons. Wearing it can fly to that beautiful and peaceful grassland. Everyone has a world that belongs to them, and they can recollect and imagine to their heart's content.
That extra-long kiss
After saying goodbye to grandma, Yishun came to comfort Yingjun. Yingjun turned his head 180 degrees, and the two kissed. All the time, non-stop, until the sun goes down. This kiss is also full of power, so that the weak Yingjun can stay in the air all the time. After the kiss, Yishun grinned, revealing the dentures (which ran through Yingjun's mouth during the kiss). This is where I laugh the most, a little disgusting, hehehehehe.
Some erotic dialogue
Yishun accompanies Yingjun to complete her mission. The tent was blown away by the strong wind in the rain.
Yishun: What are you doing now?
Young-kun: Take off your wet socks first.
Yishun: It's not just the socks that get wet...is the socks wet?
After the rain, a rainbow appeared. Yingjun didn't wait for her mission, but she had Yishun by her side. Love gave them new strength to face the past and future, to feel the presence of every moment.
