a great mother

The thing that touched me the most in the whole play was Ronnie's mother, she was a really great mother who still loved him unreservedly and had confidence in him when the whole world abandoned and despised her son who was a pedophile, Tell him to get in shape and arrange a blind date for him, even though he knows it's unlikely to succeed. Ronnie lost confidence in herself, she told him with firm eyes: You are a miracle! Each of us is a miracle! Ask him to believe that he will also have a bright future. But when others attacked her son, she could rush out without any hesitation and bravely protect her child with her weak body. Until she dies, she wants Ronnie to "be a good boy".
Looking at the current parents, they will only make more and more demands on their children. Within ten in the class, if they are not enough, they want to be in five; if they are in five, they are not enough, they want the first place; the first in the class, if they are not enough, they want to rush. In the superior! Live as if your children are living for them, because your life is not happy and unsatisfactory, you want your children to be proud of them. As long as they fail to meet their requirements, they will look at their faces, speak coldly or scold them, and even corporal punishment. Don't need to care about their feelings, they have a well-deserved banner anyway: "for your own good".
I wish I could be a mother like Ronnie's mother in the future.

Little Children quotes

  • Narrator: Sexual tension is an elusive thing, but Kathy had pretty good radar for it. It was like someone had turned a knob to the right, and the radio station clicked in so loud and clear it almost knocked her over. Once she became aware of the connection between them, it seemed impossible that she'd missed it before.

  • Brad Adamson: [talking about his wife] She makes documentaries.

Sarah Pierce: Oh, like Michael Moore?

    Brad Adamson: Like PBS.
