Humanity in War

War can reveal the true nature of the individual, making people strong, vulnerable and even distorted. The weak are inspired with courage and wisdom, the righteous become greedy predators, the aggressors show their glorious humanity, and the ignorant people are forever blinded by appearances.

The movie is very smooth, the story is full of twists and turns, and finally justice triumphs over evil. But after watching it, my mood did not improve with the happy ending. It turns out that there are three religions and nine classes of justice, and the Dutch are superior to the Jews; it turned out that the defeated Germany could continue to execute the decision to execute its own generals, which the Allies defined as internal management; it turned out that the victorious righteous were also exhausted. Treating prisoners in an extremely humiliating way...

I hope war will always be a term in our textbooks, righteous or unjust, and it is always a single individual who is harmed. The power of the individual is too humble, and there will never be those flesh-and-blood corpses, deceit and betrayal in the historical records.
