Queen

I really like this movie because it can satisfy my curiosity about European royalty. But this is not just a movie full of gossip, it wants to express that the queen is also a person. The film tells the story of how the royal family, under Diana's powerful brilliance, handled its relationship with the public and the media after Diana's death. This theme can be glimpsed in the movie poster, where the Queen stands before a huge, incomplete poster of Diana, as if her entire being is shrouded in the shadow of the People's Princess. The technique of this film is a bit like the assassination of Kennedy, which combines documentaries and movies, and all of Diana's scenes are documentaries. The movie has a tendency to promote Prime Minister Blair, who he portrays as a sincere, close-to-the-people prime minister who always respects the Queen, while Prince Charles appears cowardly and wretched.

Now I like to portray big figures from the perspective of human nature. From "The Destruction of the Empire" two years ago to today's "Queen", these originally terrifying or sacred figures have shown the same joys and sorrows as we are in front of the camera. The Queen is also a person, not just a human head on coins and stamps. I really liked the scene where the queen and the king of the twelve-forked deer met. The two kings looked at each other sympathetically, but unfortunately the king of the deer was killed unexpectedly. The queen stood in the room and looked at the deer head, and she was completely shocked. Looking at the deer's head that was cut off, she seemed to see herself and the plight of the royal family she led, and then she made a decision in her heart to protect the royal family and the country, even if it conflicted with her personal feelings. Some people think that the Queen's final speech came from the heart, that she felt wrong from her heart after the constitutional crisis. But I always felt that she was making compromises for the royal family and the country. She didn't feel that she had a wrong view of Concubine Di, but she found that her estimation of the people was wrong.

Helen Miller, a queen professional, played Queen Elizabeth very well, with a kingly demeanor without anger and self-righteousness, and a strong affinity at the same time. The overall film is also very good, quite classical, but for the best film Oscar, the weight is really small, so it is normal not to win the award.
