I've been wondering if the director of "Legends of the Fall" saw Brad Pitt play here and decided to cast him in that heartwarming western. It's not that the two films are similar, but that the relationship between father and son and between brothers is always warm. Everyone has a Paul and Norman in their hearts, and they all have a similar story. This is just an inconspicuous one among thousands of ordinary families.
In Norman's memory, Paul is always a bohemian hot-blooded man. Paul's final outcome can be predicted from many places. Like the Indian woman. Although he is more romantic than his brother, more innovative than him, and braver than him, life chose Norman, and Paul's young life disappeared forever. Because life is not art.
