Last year, I wrote a story about vampires, and I wanted to find a prototype for my friends who were drawing. I couldn't help but think of the actor with green eyes that I saw when I watched "Amberson Love Story" a long time ago. On the Internet, I found that his name is Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Wilde's fellow, so I found this movie, his famous work. It took me two readings to understand, I read it a third time, and a fourth time, and every time I found something new. Its lines have Wilde's wit, and some are outright quotes. Of course, the video is very beautiful, glitter.
I love the first time Cecil hears Brian sing 2HB in the sombrero nightclub, it's like a dream. I also love the shot where the starry sky fills the screen and people look up at the sky, which reminds me of Wilde's wonderful words: We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.
This is the tragedy and fate of the artist, and it is also the greatest joy of the artist. Yes, I think they are both amazing artists.
