I just watched the film "Elephant" that won the Best Director Award at the Cannes Film Festival. The scene is so calm and flat. It seems that the school shooting incident is as ordinary as a meal. But it is such a "cold" scene. It can be so straightforward and direct to people's hearts, which makes people have to do some thinking. The most things people do in the film are walking, walking quickly, and walking repeatedly. It's like this movie has no ending, but it continues naturally to the end. I like the beautiful blue sky at the beginning and end of the movie, very blue and blue, clear and transparent to the bottom of my heart.
