The Opera and the Phantom have no end

While cooking at noon, I turned on the Phantom of Opera and listened again. I have seen it, but I want to continue listening.

I've seen two versions of this musical changed movie, the 2004 version is better. Phantom of Opera is a musical that is closer to an opera, or an opera produced in the United States, in which the music is widely circulated. When I was in China, I often heard it, such as the song Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensations. When I was in Nanjing, some music stations often played. The music is grand and soul-stirring, and the scene in the new version is more in line with it and the extravaganza personality of the musical's inception. The music of the old version is the same, but the visuals are a bit thinner, and some unnecessary gimmicks are added to make the tragic effect a bit discounted.

Phantom of Opera is a bit like Leslie Cheung's "Singing at Midnight". The phantom in the opera house is both good and evil, a musical genius and a possessive monster living in the dark. His creativity is as destructive as he is. In musicals, most of them are light and humorous, and it is rare to have such a heavy tragedy. However, as Mr. Zhu Guangqian said, the real tragedy is not responsible for providing answers. There is always a big question mark at the end, forcing people to ponder, but there will never be a correct answer.

Musicals seem to be easier to understand than operas, and have more texture than ordinary melodramas. When you are climbing the peak of the opera, you may have been unable to do what you want. When you take a rest, you will see another scene, that is, a musical. In addition to Phantom of Opera, I recently borrowed Fiddlers on the Roof from school. If I get a chance, I'll also look for Les Miserables, My Fair Lady, and West Side Story.

Sing, sing, sing your sister! If the music is removed, it is nothing.

The singing is very lively, but I just feel that the emotional expression is not as good as the original musical, but who asked Weber to write it for Sarah, about his father and about music of the night, it is a little love letter for a couple. Then I thought phantom looked familiar, I went to be a Spartan man

The Phantom: [sung] You alone can make my song take flight. It's over now, the music of the night.

  • Christine: What I once used to dream, I now dread / If he finds me, it won't ever end / And he'll always be there, singing songs in my head / He'll always be there, singing songs in my head.
