After watching the whole film, my personal feelings about the whole film are as follows:
1. First of all, this is the first Bond film, also a film from the early 1960s, and the budget for this film is also very tight (only 1 million US dollars, only one third of the budget for the second "Love from Russia") , So it is unsatisfactory in all aspects, even if the factors of the times are removed. The actions, plots, props, and scenes are all blunt and crude. Especially when compared with the second part "Love from Russia", we can see many immaturities in the first part. The plot is lacklustre, and I even fell asleep for a while in the middle of the film. . . . . . .
2. The first real Bond girl appeared very late, and finally appeared in a bikini. After a little and crude fighting scene, Bond killed the villain Dr. No. The heroine has almost no meaning.
3. After its launch at that time, it was popular because of its novel themes and advanced shooting concepts, but many places really couldn't be seen by the current audience (the contemporary "Golden Finger" and "Love from Russia" did not have such a huge age. A sense of transcendence, and I really like it), in view of the historical significance of this film (the first 007!), in my mind, it ranks second from the bottom of the 24 in the series.
