A film for boys

I watched it many times, and I was moved every time.
The story is about the love story of a savage girl and a silly boy. The protagonist is actually only one person, that girl. After she lost her lover, what kind of life did she lead, drunk, beating and scolding people... From her exaggerated interaction with Morning Bull, we can see how a broken heart is restored. The morning bull is just a bystander. Feel it with his eyes and heart.
The touching part of the story is that Morning Bull did a lot of exaggerated things for her. What a boy can do for a girl, we have all seen here: carrying a drunk person into a hotel but being caught by the police, walking with the girl in changing shoes, giving her flowers during her class, and wearing a middle school student's clothes with her. Her school uniform went to the bar, she could only order coffee in the restaurant, she had to play different games with her, and she was beaten constantly. All things, in men, are not so face. It can be said that it is very dignified. But the morning bull did it all. He looks really stupid.
I think it's a movie made for boys.

My Sassy Girl quotes

  • [after Kyun-woo reads one of The Girl's screenplays]

Kyun-woo: They have to kiss in the end.

The Girl: This isn't a melodrama. It's an action movie.

Kyun-woo: You don't know movies. Koreans like melodramas.

    The Girl: Why?

Kyun-woo: Know what novel touched us when we were teenagers? 'Shower' by Hwang Sun-won. It shaped our people's sensibility in their teens. Koreans like sad movies all because of 'Shower.'

The Girl: 'Shower'? What's sad about it?

Kyun-woo: It's sad when she asked to be buried in the clothes reminiscent of her love. I couldn't sleep for one week.

The Girl: The ending sucks. Gotta change it.

  • Kyun-woo: With other guys, try to surrender even for just once, not try to win.
