The title of the movie is weird, I probably didn't understand it. But I like the title of the film, it's a little religious.
In fact, Palestine and Israel are two countries with strong religious beliefs. They live and fight for the Lord. In their belief, life should be good and heaven. But in reality, Palestine and Israel are hell, with constant shootings and attacks.
There are several contrasting scenes in the film. In the city of Palestine, there are ruins everywhere, a real slum. In Israel, all kinds of public facilities are complete, and it is completely a modern city. Two peoples, two completely different scenes, the scars of this disaster-stricken land will not be easily erased.
At the end of the film, Thad gets on a bus with ordinary passengers and many soldiers. Thad sat quietly, with a firmness in his eyes, a trace of serenity. Was he thinking that his feat would bring honor to the family and wash away the shame that his father had been hanging over their family as a "traitor"? Perhaps he was thinking of being the guardian of the Lord, that he could enter heaven? Maybe neither, but he was thinking.... The movie ends. Feeling a little helpless, a little sad...
