This story really does not match my three views.
The first question is, what is the conflict between the male protagonist and his family or what kind of expectations does he have in his heart, so he is so eager to escape from that island, why is he unwilling to go back? In the end, I didn't wait for this answer. I was confused about the male protagonist's family situation. Without this background, I really couldn't agree more with what he did.
The second question, why does the male protagonist always think about slipping away instead of making it clear? Maybe it's because I'm getting older and feel that this kind of behavior is very undesirable, even if it's a fantasy type of anime, I accept incompetence. People are always responsible for their actions, and being 16 is not an excuse to make trouble or even carry a gun.
The third question, for the uncle who has helped me a lot, just point the gun directly? I don't know if he has a little gratitude or other emotions in his heart, or if he is full of love, longing and guilt for the heroine.
The fourth question, why did the male protagonist fall in love with the female protagonist? Is it because of her kindness and selflessness? I think that I may not be able to resonate emotionally, which is probably because I am too serious.
The fifth question, what did Xiaoyu eat to grow so fat. The cat is probably one of the few solace in my film.
In contrast, your name may be more storytelling and observable.
