brutally real

"Dancer in the dark" is a film I've always wanted to see. After watching it today, I regret it a little bit. So cruel, so depressing. Bjork's elf-like face and desperate lyrics appeared repeatedly and lingered.
She has always had only one belief, that is, to operate on her son, so that he will not be as blind as she is. She worked hard, accumulating surgery expenses little by little. She doesn't care about being misunderstood, and she doesn't care about being a harsh mother who won't even buy her son a worn-out bicycle. She never explained all the misunderstandings, but the people who really care about her don't need to explain, they can always understand her. She is such a loving son that she could give her life for this. Moments before the hanging, when she learned that her son had undergone surgery, she burst into tears and sang. At that moment, fear ceased to exist, and the flower of life bloomed brilliantly and fell sharply. At the moment of execution, was it liberation or the cold and boundless after the heart fell?
She never kept her word. A promise of gold, silence is like gold. Kind as she is, and in exchange told the landlord the secret of her impending blindness. As everyone knows, the landlord is malicious and steals her hard-earned savings. Even slandered her, saying that she seduced him, so as to drive her away. To get her money back, during the argument, she shot him. However, until she was sentenced to jail, she remained tight-lipped about the truth. For such a person who deceived and slandered her, she still had pity and abide by the original agreement.
Music is her life. Her love for musicals and music is her only source of happiness. She said it was her daydream. But only in such a dream, she can fly lightly. Those messy sounds, in her world, can be transformed into rhythmic rhythmic notes. Immersed in such a world, she has the courage to keep stepping forward. It's a pity that she has lived so humble, yet she has to suffer such censure.
Darkness is not scary, what is scary is despair. She has been dancing in her own world, afraid of the last performance before the curtain call, and eventually her voice is broken.
In the movie, there is no obvious accusation against anyone. Even when confessing a person's evil side, he kindly lays out the cause and the inner conflict and struggle. It's just that all these are presented one by one before, showing the cruelty of reality, the truth of human nature, and the helplessness of survival. In the face of an unpredictable life with no choice, there is no choice but cooperation.

Very deliberate tragedy, but very beautiful!

It's a very difficult movie to evaluate. As a musical, the singing is not wonderful, and the dancing is not wonderful. As a drama, I really don't like this shaky camera method. There are too many things that I don't like, but it is still very attractive. I
