I didn't understand a part of the plot. What happened between the officer Frank and his former lover, I thought that Frank deliberately said the wrong name of the church to abandon her, but after seeing that, he was so emotional and sad, he should have I really love her, so why can I be so shameless to seduce the heroine? I feel that the officers in the British classics are not good things. Similar references to the soldier in "Pride and Prejudice" seem to be a kind of Mode, the female protagonist must be hurt by the military officer to realize that the male protagonist is good, heh, the routine.
