A counter-attack story about dreams, money and success - the history of McDonald's.

A little guy who travels day and night like you and me relies on a gifted business acumen to make the restaurant a symbol of American pop culture. It's a standard Hollywood industrial biopic, and its smooth narrative and well-paced pacing will hold your attention. Unlike the popcorn movie, it also involves many of McDonald's successful business ideas, standardized production, market-king expansion strategies, upstream supply chain transformation, and its ambitious diversification strategy.

When you're tired of the same truisms on the market

When you start to feel lost in the boring and monotonous life

When you lose confidence in your entrepreneurial direction

This classic business biographical film must be an excellent model to inspire wisdom for you who are keen on starting a business and pursuing career success!

It sheds light on the truth and also focuses on human nature!

It's easy to understand and thought provoking!

It guides success and returns to ordinary!

The touch brought by a good story can often hit the heart directly!

The film tells the story of milkshake mixer salesman Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton), who sensed a business opportunity after meeting the McDonald's brothers who ran hamburger fast food in the 1950s; in 1961, he bought the McDonald's brothers for $2.7 million. The burger chain has built it into the world's largest fast food kingdom.

This is the real "American Dream". The movie not only tells the story well and avoids the interference of unnecessary side stories, but also presents Michael Keaton's good performance. It's a pity that he didn't show his edge in the awards season. After reading it, I really want to eat Big Mac!

Trying to add objectivity to the chicken soup and the American dream, showing Ray's early and late stages in a neutral attitude. He is a capable man who believes in his enthusiasm and perseverance, and is also a ruthless businessman. Warm but the narrative is not weak. All in all, it makes me want to eat McDonald's.

The Founder quotes

  • Mac McDonald: [Giving Kroc his first tour of McDonald's] Speed. That's the name of the game. The first stop for every McDonald's hamburger is the grill. Manned by two cooks, whose sole job it is to cook those all-beef beauties to perfection. Meanwhile, as the patty cooks, our dressers get the buns ready. Watch out. Burger crossing!

    McDonald's Employees: Burger crossing!

Mac McDonald: Every McDonald's burger has two pickles, a pinch of onions, and a precise shot of ketchup and mustard.

Ray Kroc: [Points to the ketchup and mustard despensers] Now, where did you get those?

    Mac McDonald: We made them.

    Ray Kroc: Made them?

Mac McDonald: Yes, custom-built. The whole kitchen is. Next, this is the finishing station where we put the whole thing together. And...

[Leads Ray to the end of the line, holding up a wrapped hamburger]

Mac McDonald: Voila! A fresh, delicious burger from grill to counter in 30 seconds.

  • Mac McDonald: This is not your company, Ray!
