Everyone has a utopia in their hearts

Many years ago, I couldn't understand "Castle in the Sky". The picture was very beautiful, and it was very beautiful by Hayao Miyazaki. But the plot was full of too many metaphors for me at the time, and I couldn't decipher it, so my interest was dull.
Today, after reviewing it again, it seems to understand a little bit.
With a rope tied between the waists of the two children, they arrived in Laputa, in the scene of joy; the pirate aunt said to the girl: "Poor girl's hair has been cut short." In that kind expression; from In the lens of the robot standing alone on the island holding a small flower, I think I understand a little bit.

Perhaps, looking at the top of my head, I can also see the Laputa in my heart. It is a holy place, but a holy place that can never be reached. Most of us seem to be cynical, tired of the existing, mediocre, and constrained, but we have an inner core called "ideal".
Regardless of the individual or the entire human race, no matter how prosperous the material is, no matter how comfortable the life is, if the spirit flows into mediocrity and the soul becomes empty, there is absolutely no happiness at all. With the sky and the land increasingly being obscured by crowded tall buildings, we cast our eyes on the distant place with worry but longing. Does our own Prada exist in a far corner? There is all peace, all freedom, all beauty, kindness, and warmth. I don’t know if Pandora in "Avatar" copied Prada in "Laputa in the Sky", or that human beings have a common utopia in their ideals? But, at least I think this Prada is closer to my ideal holy place than Pandora.
I don't believe in God, but I believe there must be sacredness in the world. Although I don't know where it is, I know that it must be somewhere out of sight, hiding behind the clouds, surrounded by howling tornadoes. Most of us are deceived, but invisible to the naked eye does not mean that it does not exist. However, its existence does not mean that I will go to such a place in this life. I just know that the existence of such a holy place is enough to move me. In the end, the boy and girl ruined Prada together, which is probably such a metaphor. There is a kind of beauty that does not necessarily have to be possessed. That other shore is too far away, too far away. It is so far away that there is no way to reach there even in the middle.
In this utilitarian society, adaptation has replaced creation and imagination as a talent, consumption has replaced enjoyment, and has become the goal of life. "Soul", "ideal" and "belief" are all empty words that will be ridiculed by others. As a result, everyone became a deposed king, and lost the urge to look at his country toward the sky.
The robot that is watching alone on the isolated island, I believe, there is no deeper and more intense loneliness than him. However, he enjoys that kind of loneliness. Zhou Guoping said, “Loneliness is an important experience of life, not only because only in loneliness can a person meet his own soul, but also because only in loneliness can a person’s soul interact with God, with mystery, and with the universe. The infinite mystery meets." This robot, like us, is also a pilgrim.
We are all pilgrims, we all have our own "city in the sky", maybe it is just a utopia, but it supports our lives and supports the full meaning of being human. People who don't have Prada in their hearts, no matter how much knowledge he has in his mind, his heart is also ignorant and unenlightened.
"There are as many pilgrimage paths as there are pilgrims in the world. Every pilgrimage path is made by each pilgrim himself. It does not have to be the same, nor can it be the same. Then, as long as you are also a pilgrim. , You will not feel that this is a defect, but an encouragement. You will find that everyone joins the spiritual tradition of mankind by their own lonely pursuit, and as long as you are indeed walking on your own pilgrimage, you are actually Not alone.”
So, even if we live in a very unbearable world, as long as we think about the city in our hearts, we are not alone.

  • Dola: [escorting Sheeta toward the galley] Gotta start talkin' like a real pirate!

Sheeta: [nervously] I've been practicing! Um... Harrrrr, matey! Shiver me timbers!

    Dola: [not impressed] Keep practicing...

  • [Louie and Pazu are in Tiger Moth's engine room]

Louis: Hey, Pop! I've finally found ya an assistant!

Papa: [disgruntled] Stop yelling at me! I can hear you. Believe me, sometimes I wish I couldn't.

    Papa: [to Pazu]

Papa: Come on, assistant! Let's see what you can do!

Louis: [whispering in Pazu's ear] Uh, hurry up. He is even tougher than my mother.

Papa: I need someone who's *mechanically* minded, not some half-baked, swashbuckling Casanova wannabe!
