I remember watching the last few shows where I live. After watching the movie "Yesterday" that day, and walking down a long path under the subway tracks with my friends, I felt a lot of emotions. Though the air was sultry, I still thought of "The Long And Windy Road" (laughs).
As one of the contemporary Beatles lovers, the movie is truly full of surprises. For the most part, the movie gave me a certain, "Hey! You're not alone!" kind of weird feeling. As the film is set, I see myself as a minority who loves old rock. If you do a questionnaire out of 100 people, surely no more than 20 people will fill in the name of a rock band in the 1960s or 1970s?
At the time, rock music, or the Beatles, was the leader of the music scene. The film seems to be sending a signal to the four young people who were once, the band that changed popular culture forever. However, the purpose of the call has not been clearly or effectively expressed.
The most impressive thing in the film is the moment when John Lennon opens the small wooden door. It's the two who still remember the Beatles thanking Jack for bringing the Beatles back to this bad world. It was Jack's own resonance when he shouted help me tearfully.
I really like everything about this movie. But in my heart. This film can be much more than that.
Much more than their music. Much more than the pop culture they bring. Much more than love between two people.
more important. What I want to see is this band changing this bad world. In other words, I want to see if the world would be very different without the Beatles.
If these four big boys from Liverpool make music, there is a theme. I can't think of any other word besides "love".
But the film also seems to stop at the love of friends and lovers. There is no love in the broadest sense.
Maybe I'm asking too much, maybe my expectations are too high. Because I'm scared, this is the last movie to feature such a great band. Therefore, as for the preference, there is also a kind of expectation that he can do the best.
