What are some of the episodes that made you cry in "A Man Named Ove Decided to Die"?

The whole film is full of cold humor, and many scenes make people laugh, and the director makes a little old man who is obviously very annoying to be extra cute. Slowly, you can feel the sincere and ardent heart behind some incomprehensible behaviors of the little old man. Every time he would say, "What a fool", and then he would take care of the new neighbor's child, teach her to drive, and help an old friend's house (who had a "broken relationship" caused by Volvo and BMW) to repair the heater, and "White Shirts" (government officials) fight. Although due to the influence of his native family growing up, he is silent and does not communicate with people, and even talks about his best car when dating! However, his father was a good dad who taught him to be honest and gave him double the love (his mother unfortunately passed away when he was young). I think the first small climax in the whole film is the accidental death of my father. I once seriously taught him not to take the father in the middle of the track. Because he learned that his son has excellent grades, he was unfortunately hit by a train while showing his report card. Where to die in your life's work.

Afterwards, he lived alone. By chance, he fell in love at first sight with the woman he loved. That interesting woman made him spend the most colorful time in his life. On the way, there were injuries (unexpected miscarriage, his wife's hemiplegia), distress (wife's employment problem), but his wife's strength made them go through difficult times.

Over half a hundred years old, with gray hair, his wife still left Ove. Ove didn't want her to be alone in heaven, to visit her tombstone tomorrow, and finally decided to commit suicide.

In the end, when Ove did what he wanted, he reunited with the first and last woman in his life in heaven. It was the same train that left at 6:30, and it was still those delicate red high-heeled shoes. It was different. The only thing is that the two have gray hair and squinting eyes. The final scene of the film stops at their familiar handshake. Beautiful love really brings tears to my eyes.

A Man Called Ove quotes

  • Ove: Some people say that fate is the result of our own foolishness.

  • Ove: Hey! What are you doing?

    Mähät: It scratched Prince.

Ove: Throw another stone and I'll sew a doormat with your mop!

Mähät: It is a chihuahua. And the cat certainly has both rabies and plague.

Ove: Oh, yes. Clearly, you do, too, but we do not throw stones at you.

Mähät: You still think you can do whatever you want? Slimy fucking old man. I'll tell Anders.

Ove: Go ahead, tell him. If you can make someone who drives an Audi understand. Four zeros on the grill and a fifth at the wheel. If that dog pees in our area again, I'll electrify it. Idiot!
