The challenge of courage is indeed the biggest selling point of the film. The "best" work in the whole film is indeed the horror atmosphere. It is almost composed of horror scenes from beginning to end, and the number is quite dense. Just like the true story of "The Story of the Creepy House" and the previous episode "Annabelle: The Creepy", the horror techniques in the play are very skilled, making good use of lighting, the arrangement of closed spaces, and the supernatural and surreal weird settings. Horror episodes are bursting forth, making the movie a "horror feast", exclamations and screams are inevitable, and it is absolutely successful in terms of scary levels. However, success is also terrifying, and defeat is also terrifying. Director Gary Dauberman is the screenwriter of the "Strange Baby" series. This time, he swaps roles with James Wan, the director of the "Strange House" series. The former is the director and the latter is mainly responsible for the script. Unfortunately, this crossover is far from ideal. The so-called "story" is just a series of scattered horror bits, but for a film with a length of 106 minutes, such a treatment is too sloppy.
