Allure Story
Fairy tale-like plot, but said to be based on a true story.
I thought it was a romance movie. But in general, the emotional lines of the male and female protagonists are very restrained, and they are more like-minded and natural.
The whole film is also discussing a classic question: "jokingly, buy a lottery ticket with a stranger, do you want to share the winnings when you win the lottery?", or another macro-level question: "How about a huge amount of money and commitment/integrity?" trade-off". For ordinary people, this is not an easy question. So every audience will have a sense of substitution "what will I choose if I change it"? I think that's what makes this game so successful.
The ending is a bit vulgar, but normal people should like it. It is also a bit clever, and does not constitute a reason for deduction.
By the way, such an "old" film can also show how much influence the media has on the public's understanding of something.
I like this line:
If you don't want me, that's different.
If you don't want me, I'll walk right out that door, and you'll never see me again.
But please stop talking about the money.
It means nothing to me.
---OK, in fact, money still means something, but money is only a means, a resource, not an end. At least for the male lead. Ordinary people can only admire and learn as much as possible.
Taking the kids to play baseball at Yankee Stadium and meeting them at The plaza were two good episodes. Also the ending scene is amazing.
Finally, Bridget Fonda is so pretty.
All in all, I give five stars.
