Around 700 AD, the righteous magician Merlin (James A. Stephens) led his apprentices Balthazar (Nicolas Cage), Veronica (Monica Bellucci), Horvath and the evil witch Mo Canna Lowe (Alice Krige) starts a struggle. In order to seal the witch, Veronica swallowed Mogana's soul into her body, and Balthazar sealed them in the doll.
