Sexology

The book on sex that I read earlier was "History of Sex", not Foucault's "History of Sex". Although there was a "History of Sex" in the small bookstore that used to exist next to the school library, it was a rough one. A rough reading of the comparison turned out that "History of Sex" was more suitable for me. The content of this book, I have no impression now, but it is not that the book itself is boring to ignore, but that many of the concepts have been completely absorbed, so that I can't tell which ones come from the book. Much of my interest in sexology stemmed from reading this book, and it was this interest that allowed me to watch the entire movie with relish.
I don't know much about Kinsey's life, and the content on wikipedia is quite limited. I found a book called "Alfred C. Kinsey: A public/private life" that mentioned Kinsey's childhood depression and adulthood. Homosexuality and sexual abuse tendencies, such a person, his greater research motivation should come from anxiety about himself: from the adjustment of cognitive dissonance that his childhood education is inconsistent with his adult sexual behavior . So it's understandable that his research is more sympathetic to some borderline sexual behaviors.
This film is a "Beautiful Mind" type film, which will definitely lead to people's real perception of Kinsey, but it doesn't matter. For most audiences, it doesn't matter what kind of Kinsey is, what matters is the film what was given to them. For example, "sex is nothing compared to our love life", which many viewers are definitely happy to see.
There is no so-called normal sex, because all sex is different. This view was quite remarkable in that era, and even in this era, it is estimated that it is difficult for many people to truly understand.
In fact, it is not easy to be a sexologist like Kinsey. When you look at sex with a scientific perspective and analyze sex with everyday discussions, sex becomes nothing but biological pleasure and is stripped away. The social aspect of sex is something you cannot ignore.

A great scientist is that his attempt to guide moral opinion is a bit out of bounds.

Professor Kinsey’s works are not mentioned much, but his life experience (along with a group of people around) is so wonderful that I have several times suspected that this is really a biopic? ! In fact, the movie can better portray the conflict between scientific research and life and emotions, but seeing the profane uncle PS uncle starred so shockingly and boldly! What else can I ask for!
