Never forget your passion for life under adversity

September 29 evening

On the afternoon of 9.28, I checked into the China Film Archive for the first time. Xiaoxitian is known as a holy land for movie lovers. After planning for a long time, I chose this Saturday. Although I have not heard of the two movies before, they feel pretty good.

In the first "Rust and Bone" I watched, the male protagonist and the female protagonist blended together because of the misery of each other's lives. The male protagonist is unemployed and depends on others, and the female protagonist, who loves training killer whales but has lost both legs. When the heroine lost her legs, I was still thinking, what should I do if I lose my legs one day? How am I going to spend the rest of my life? It is already difficult for me to go on the established path of being a civil servant. If I really want to realize my ambitions, I am afraid I will have to pay a lot, and I am afraid it will be difficult to accept it psychologically.

In the movie, the male protagonist encourages the female protagonist to go swimming. When the heroine was free swimming on the sparkling shore, and she finally regained her freedom in the dark house of autism for many days, I realized the joy of her. Although she lost her legs, she was good at swimming as a killer whale trainer. For her, she regained her enthusiasm for life, and life has not only been dark for her since then.

She made love with the male protagonist and experienced the fun of sex. She returned to the killer whale performance hall, went to retrain the killer whales, cheered the male protagonist's fighting, and went to help the male protagonist participate in the fighting. Everything showed her unyielding spirit of not compromising with life . When he was in the sun, re-training his hand gestures, my heart went up to the music! That scene was a sign that she was walking into her dream again after losing her legs! It was her resistance that was unwilling to lose to fate!

The same is true for the male protagonist. His life is difficult, and he likes fighting. When he was fighting for the first time, the heroine asked him if it was for the 500 euros, and if so, she could give him the money and not go to the competition because the heroine cared about him. And the male protagonist said that fighting for him is like a killer whale performing for the female protagonist. This is the interesting side of life, a ray of sunshine in their life of unfair destiny. The male protagonist had two fights when he was fighting, and I was very moved. Once was the first time, the male protagonist punched in a row, hearty, as if he was releasing his passion, fighting the injustice of fate, and not compromising with fate. Once, when he was beaten by the fat man, because Mary got out of the car to watch the battle, he became heroic and fought back in one fell swoop. Then he was ecstatic like a child in the car, and finally went to the nightclub to release hormones again and went to a one-night stand. He cared about Mary. Mary was more than just a friend to him. He would fight back for her, and at the end, he would cry to Mary about his helplessness when he thought he was about to lose his son.

Another thing that touched me in the film was the male protagonist's love for his son. The divine power of father's love was revealed from this. The film may not be so great. The water gun gets wet and throws a crying son out when the phone changes the rules of the fighting game. But he will not forget to buy a toy for his son after earning money for the first time. He will also play with his son on the beach, and he will be full of sand sculptures in the ice and snow, all of which are extremely warm. When his son accidentally fell into the ice cave, he went crazy and broke the ice with his bare hands. At that time, I thought that his son would be difficult to survive, so I thought that it was an unprecedented blow to the male protagonist's life. Fortunately, his son was rescued successfully.

At the end of the film, the male protagonist won the grand prize and the three reunited, which should be a happier ending.

For me, the film has quite a bit of meaning, and I have been thinking about the meaning of the film's rust in the bones. Is the rust or the sword of passion for life slowly rusted by life itself? Even if the bones are rusted by hardships, they still dare to fight against fate. Also, for the more dull style of the film, the male protagonist's part-time male hormones in several fighting games are bursting, so handsome! ! !

The writing is not good, and I haven't learned from the superficial opinions of everyone's film reviews. Thank you!

A love story between a disabled woman and a normal man. Highlights: Delicate and unlimited, Marion Cotillard's interpretation is very moving. PS: The backlit large aperture lens really lowered my IQ and rationality.

A plate of loose sand, meaningless, smelly and long.

Rust and Bone quotes

  • Alain van Versch: [after having sex with Stéphanie for the first time] Was it good? It still works?

Stéphanie: Yes. No... I don't know... It's different. It's hard to say after just one...

Alain van Versch: Yeah but I can't now. I have to go.

Stéphanie: That's not what I meant. It's new, so...

Alain van Versch: Was it good or not?

    Stéphanie: Yes, it was good.

Alain van Versch: Well, when you feel like it, call me. If I'm OP, I'll come.

Stéphanie: What does that mean, 'OP'?

Alain van Versch: Operational. When I'm available, when I can.

    Stéphanie: When you're OP, we...

    Alain van Versch: Yes.

    Alain van Versch: What?

    Stéphanie: Nothing, it's great.

  • Alain van Versch: What's up, Robocop?

    Stéphanie: This is a circus!
