In fact, it has been two days since I watched this movie. For me, it can be considered that I have lost the passion to write a movie review. But the movie kept playing back and forth in my head, putting me in an embarrassing situation. That is to keep thinking about writing something, but this movie really doesn't have much to write about. Compared with Jarmusch's later films, this film clearly bears his early style - that is, the film is played for more than an hour, but it seems that nothing is said. "Psychedelic Train" is a movie about the different fates of three groups of characters who stay in the same hotel, or the use of the word "destiny" at all, because the film itself does not give us much to try to explain fate. story. From a certain point of view, "International, Trailer, Night" in "Ten Minutes of Ageing" is a typical expression of Jarmusch's style. It is a kind of vague state of mind, a life-like plot with a grotesque core.

The first story tells the story of a pair of Japanese lovers who went to this Elvis Presley town, looking for Elvis and worshipping idols. In this story, Elvis becomes the core of the story's existence. But when you try to dig out the so-called inner meaning, all the plots seem very weak.

The second story tells the story of a Roman woman who was forced to stop at the hometown of Elvis on the way back to Italy with her dead husband, and shared a room with a woman who was about to leave here, and saw the soul of Elvis. . In this story, Elvis is an accident for a Roman woman, but she is bewitched by a story about Elvis' ghost and even sees the so-called soul herself. Also, it seems to me that many of the details imply that this woman killed her husband. And a woman who likes to talk non-stop in the same room is to leave her boyfriend and leave this Elvis hometown at the same time.

The third story tells the story of the boyfriend of the woman who left here, after killing two other people, hiding in a hotel and running away the next day. In this story, local people's dislike of Elvis can be seen, like for the positivity of Elvis in the first story and the neutrality in the second story, the presence of Elvis has a strong negative impact .

Three unrelated stories, there are not many coincidences and accidents, all of them are unfamiliar, just accidentally broke into each other's lives. But everyone's ending has the same opening, that is, leaving the hometown of Elvis, from a certain perspective, it is the beginning of a new life for everyone. But life is so bland that the story dispels that sense of fate. The title of the film is "Psychedelic Train", but only the beginning and end of the film appear in the film.
