If The Godfather teaches boys how to grow into men, The Princess Diaries teaches girls how to grow.

In the first part, the girl is ignorant, lacks self-confidence, is afraid of speeches, makes various choices in friendship and love, and is used by the boys she likes, making her sad and sad.
