Violence against people is always shocking

This short film about killing gave me the urge to say something.
As for what can be called a good work, there will be different value judgments from different angles. My point of view is that being able to arouse people's thinking is the primary value of a good work. Keith's short film about murder is one such film that questions us.
Thinking 1: Do people have the right to judge others?
The story of the film is an event that can be summed up in one sentence: a young man killed a taxi driver and was sentenced to death by hanging. If you usually hear such a story, a person who was sentenced to death for murder would probably feel justified, but when he saw Jacek being hanged, let alone the feeling in his heart. To express my feelings through the lawyer's last line: I hate them. Not to hate judges, but to hate judgement based on the law.
From the previous religious trial to the current legal trial, I don't think this shows any qualitative leap in human civilization, because it is still based on violence and autocracy as its essence. Athena formed a court based on justice, and people started massacres with the shining word of justice. We will have our own value judgments, such as not killing, not cheating, not stealing, and these values constrain us to do what we don’t do. Who will punish a person for doing something wrong? Conscience to punish. If we think that a person has done something wrong, but he himself does not think that he has done something wrong and has not been whipped by his conscience, we use violent means to impose so-called punishment, and even deprive others of their lives, what does this have to do with the nature of Nazism the difference?
When people brought the adulterous woman before the Lord and demanded to stone her to death, the Lord said that only innocent people could judge her, but no one stoned her. I even feel that as long as they are the same person, they are not qualified to judge others.
"Since there was a law, people's crimes have not been reduced because of this." Since the law has not played a role in terms of practical value, is it still a matter of course for people to judge people by the law?
Thinking 2: Good or Evil?
What is the driver like? He would feed stray dogs and make way for children; but he was lustful and always played tricks on others with bad intentions.
What is Jacek like? Loves his sister and family, sometimes as simple as a big kid; but he kills people, robs other people's cars and money.
They all represent the normal state of human beings. We divide human nature into good and evil. Each of us is a composite of good and evil, but the manifestations are different. Some are mischievous, and some are murder. Evil is evil, there is no big evil or small evil.
Thought 3: Destiny?
What caused the driver's death? Jacek's sister accident, a stone, the old woman watching the pigeons in the square, the driver himself (playfully refusing two passengers and finally making Jacek his last passenger), the cow hearing the distress signal instead of the cyclist , The passing of the train has become the best cover for the murder scene, and all details are fatal. Fulfillment of the curse of the fortune teller? Jacek's punishment for his sister's death or retribution for the driver's misdeeds? No, everything may or may not happen, destiny is destiny, and it does not carry all the moral interpretations that people want.
Many questions have been thought but no answers. I just thought it was a good movie. Based on my belief that the law is not qualified to judge people, and the logic and cause and effect of conviction cannot make a fair judgment at all, I can imagine the embarrassing situation I am in in reality.
Don't forget to mention the soundtrack, Keith's soundtrack always goes so well with the movie, it's natural.
