Today, I was fortunate enough to participate in the "Cold Blood Pursuit" viewing event organized by Renren Video at China Film International Studios Shanghai Heshenghui store. A very American revenge, very American humor, very American straightforward, very American plot... The plot progress can be said to be without suspense. The brisk and agile murder scenes are combined with the BGM with comedy effects, and the neat death announcements are all used to render the whole film from the plot, characters, environment, tone to the atmosphere of the whole film with a sense of joy - "cold" ! There is almost no emotional foreshadowing, and the characters change bluntly (model citizens to persevering cold-blooded murders, the little boy's sudden emotional dependence on the kidnapper's male lead, the two gangsters in the fierce shopping but soberly let go of the male lead...) In a word , is a raw, cold, hard American revenge film with a sense of humor!
