I downloaded the high-definition "Annabelle 3 Homecoming" last night, and I was very excited. After all, this is one of the small universes of Wen Ziren's Conjuring Soul, and at the same time, it is a horror movie that I have been looking forward to for half a year. I can imagine my mood.
After reading it, I am a little disappointed and a little disappointed. It seems a bit too much to say that it failed my expectations, but I can't find the right words to describe my mood.
Back to movies. Whether you like Wen Ziren or the "The Conjuring" series, will you be looking forward to this "Annabelle 3"? Today, let's not talk about Annabelle's first two, only the third. "Annabelle 3 Comes Home" is all about highlighting Mrs. Warren's phrase "it calls other souls" shortly after the film begins. In a movie, you want to highlight the theme. But An 3 has a big problem: all the things that he thinks are scary are taken out and placed in front of the audience! The scary elements of horror films are not escalating from scary quantitative changes to scary qualitative changes, but the foreshadowing of the plot reaches quantitative changes, and finally comes a heart-pounding qualitative change picture. I don't know if I'm saying that right, but after watching the movie, that's what I thought. An 3, there are many small elements that want to scare the audience, because Annabelle can call souls, so those cursed or evil spirits placed in the small house are all used by Annabelle. One by one, the girls are scared to hide in the dark house... But, I can't feel it. I couldn't feel the scary atmosphere, and I couldn't bring myself into it. There are so many gadgets, rubbing together, that I don't find it scary. I'd rather this one be like the previous two, albeit in a scary way, but there are still scenes that make my heart skip a beat, but this one doesn't. The method is still not new, and the strength has weakened so much that people like my husband who don’t like horror movies and haven’t watched a few horror movies say, why do I feel weak after watching this one, even I’m not scared arrive. I smiled and didn't know what to say.
The little elements are terrifying together. It's not like there are no such movies. "The Cabin in the Woods" should be seen by most of the horror friends, right? Black humor, paying tribute to the horror characters that appeared in the horror films, the atmosphere you want is in place, the sound effects you want can be satisfied, and the novel way, after watching it, you still feel that you haven't seen enough. Isn't this the feeling we want? But An 3 is really not very powerful. Those gadgets and small elements are really a bit weak in scary strength, and there are no pictures that impress me.
As an actor, I really like the little girl. She is also the first girl in the new version of "Bad Seeds". I like both her acting skills and looks! The only thing that moved me when I watched An 3 last night was when the little girl walked up to the second floor and slowly opened the door, her eyes were filled with fear, and tears slowly filled her eyes, which made me feel a little distressed.
I hope that other films in the future expansion of the small universe will be better than An 3!
