"THT CONSTANT GARDENER" The Immortal Gardener

In terms of feeling, since the end of last year, the film has been constantly improving, and it feels a bit unwatchable. This movie is one of them. By and large, the film uses JUSTIN's point of view from beginning to end. First isolation, guesswork, and a quiet observation of his wife's words and deeds. Later, with the in-depth investigation, JUSTIN slowly realized his wife's intentions.

Since it is from the point of view of a big man, the film focuses very little on the sadness of losing his beloved wife. For more than an hour before, we can only peep into the hero's heart from the occasional flashback of his memory. Until he returned to his wife's former flat in England, holding the door in the deserted garden and weeping bitterly. . . After more than an hour of depression, the audience's emotions were also brought to a new climax in the man's heart-wrenching cry. Everything after that went smoothly. JUSTIN seems to have become a substitute for his wife. He finally understands his wife. The lost love for his wife that he once doubted has turned into a desperate force at this moment. A desperate person is not afraid of death. His heart is already with TESSA. What is the difference between life and death?

Sitting alone under the sunset, with the red land where TESSA was killed, JUSTIN had already expected that Death had already learned of his whereabouts even though he was holding a gun. Turning his head, TESSA was smiling at him by his side, and a smile appeared on JUSTIN's mouth. "TESSA" was his last word. . .

Luckily this isn't a movie where individual heroism wins. JUSTIN will not win or even survive in the end. Personally, I think the ending of the film could be a little more realistic. The humiliating words at the funeral were completely unnecessary. Justice that TESSA and JUSTIN could not have given their lives for, nor could it be easily obtained at their funerals. In a world of interests, justice is the least valuable.

ps. The OST of this film is also worth collecting~~
