In fact, this is a rather ordinary story: the death of a small civil servant. But it was such a simple story that was made into a five-star movie by Akira Kurosawa. The plot design at the beginning of the film is simply not too exciting. In the first 20 years, Watanabe was also a hard-working young man, but 20 years later, the camera showed how to improve office efficiency. Bian was diagnosed with stomach cancer to pave the way; Watanabe did not remarry for his son. When he recalled the happy scenes of his son's childhood, he was told to lock the door when he was excited by his son and was about to go upstairs. The film is divided into two parts. The two storytelling methods are perfectly combined. The front is a linear narrative, and the rear is changing the perspective. Through the conversation between the colleagues in the wake, the last time of Watanabe is pieced together step by step in the form of fragments. . At the end of the film, I don’t forget to satirize people’s rhetoric after drinking. Throughout the film, I saw human nature, irony, and Kurosawa Akira’s directing skills. He is indeed a master of Kurosawa Akira! Awesome!
