I don't know much about British history, but after watching the TV version, I can really feel the subtleties of this play. From the scene layout, home furnishings, character costumes, and even the actresses deliberately gaining weight for this drama, they can all reflect the professionalism of the cast and crew of the show.
Needless to say the storyline, the vast majority of people who want to watch this drama know the novel first. Of course, some people want to quickly "read" the famous novel through video. I highly recommend this drama.
If this drama were condensed into a movie version, I think it would get more recognition than the current shoddy new version of Pride and Prejudice. Just as people would rate a classic remake of Jin Yong's work, this remake of Pride and Prejudice is the norm.
ps: One water British actor, pure British pronunciation, Darcy's charm, Jane's stubbornness, Elizabeth's charm, Bingley's elegance (Of Course, Darcy's arrogance and Elizabeth's prejudice), the actors in the play fit perfectly The characters in the play... I was impressed by Mr. Darcy's manor, when Jane was asked "whether her impression of Darcy has changed because of that manor...", I think except Jane, many people who watched the film and were impressed by the manor would answer "YES".
