The whole picture is beautiful, making people fall into the fairy tale world. Looking at the fantasy version of the scene in the film, all the incredible seems to make sense. The dead and the living, promises and promises, trust and betrayal, sincerity and falsehood and condescension... The "fairy" who seems to be the most gentle and harmless is actually a scorpion's heart. It's the fairy tale we're familiar with, with some added human complexity not found in traditional fairy tales. With this little change, the whole story is more touching and easier to make people yearn for. Because of the ending of fairy tales, good and evil will be rewarded, people can always get their own happiness, and even some unsatisfactory things reveal the light of hope. And a place to dream, which is nice.
