This is a film that questions science. When we have the ability to create a life, how should we view it and how should we be responsible for it. When the captain asked the weirdo who you were, he said he never gave me a name. The name is the most basic affirmation of a life. Victor does not regard the weirdo as a life. He makes the weirdo ugly and lonely, but he is not responsible for him, so the weirdo wants to find him and seek justice. There are three scenes in the movie that shocked me. One is when the blind old man asked why the weirdo didn't find a friend, and the weirdo replied: i am so very ugly, and they are so very...beautiful. Then the old man touched the weird face with his hand. The scar and said: It's so pitiful, I believe that the heart of the weirdo was hit hard at this time. Then the old man's son drove him away when he got home. The second time is when the eccentric finds Victor who made him and asks Victor to make himself a mate. There is a line that illustrates his twisted psychology: In this heart of mine, there is the deepest love you can't imagine. There is also the most terrifying anger you can imagine. If one is not satisfied, I will let the other rage. The last time was when the geek finally chose to die with Victor and said he was my father. That's right, he didn't belong in this world in the first place. The only emotion he had was fatherly love, which also echoed the first word he learned, father. After witnessing all this, the captain who wanted to go to the Arctic scientific expedition chose to go home. I think he must have felt the horror of science.
