battle of electricity

Perhaps Mr. Benny has played too many talented roles, or perhaps he is too familiar with him. In short, when I watched the trailer, I saw too many familiar shadows, which made me wonder if I was happy or sad.

"Battle of Electricity", about Edison played by BC, and Westinghouse played by Shannon "two power giants compete on direct current and alternating current". What is the competition? There are probably three lines: one is the competition to popularize electricity in the United States, and both of them want to occupy as many cities as possible; the other is whether the execution of a murderer in the electric chair is torture, and whether alternating current is dangerous. The third is to compete for the qualification of electricity suppliers for the Chicago World's Fair.

Hope the movie will be as popular as I thought. .

Wasting time.....the end subtitles seem to be the most exciting

I don't think it's a running account. The rhythm of editing is fast and slow, and it takes brainpower to grasp it. It is not perfect but not bad. The picture is too comfortable for Virgo, and many pictures focus on symmetry, which is also to reflect the creator's fair display of WAR. The music is good, classical in human nature and modern in war. I am moved to tears when the modern civilization of human beings is illuminated and an era meets the death of life.

The Current War: Director's Cut quotes

  • Nikola Tesla: A true legacy isn't what we build up to the heavens or carve deep into stone. Rocks will crumble, paper disintegrates, and bone turns to powder. Only that which isn't in the physical realm and reaches in both directions can be eternal. Our ideas. They are what we leave behind. And only they are what can push us forward.

Thomas Edison: To all whom it may concern, be it known that I, Thomas Alva Edison, submits on this, the 27th day of January, 1880, the application of this abstract to the Patent Office of the United States of America. The unique design of my invention is that of a glass vacuum tube which houses inside a thin cotton thread filament, the two lower ends of which secure respective posts, forming an arch shape. Details and schematic drawings follow exhibiting all aspects of the invention. But its purpose is simple, to give light.
