"I've gained power, and I've lost power to love forever"

Everyone may be like Elizabeth, step by step from pure naive romantic to this step - a step that has not been thought of before. Everyone's path is completely different, tortuous or bottomless, but we are also faced with choices. For example, Elizabeth chose not to marry because of the rise of Britain, her independence. As a king, it is very sad that she will never have a small family again, she only has everyone, and the country is her trust and love.

All emotional movies I end up thinking of myself. Is the price of sacrificing feelings worth it in life? You have absolute sanity and decisiveness because you have nothing to worry about. Her transformation must have been painful, like everyone else, but to get it you have to give and lose, it's your choice.

These two sentences are my two favorite passages in the whole movie.

I don’t understand foreign history, and I’m not interested in foreign pure history films after I have discovered them through practice.

Watching a movie to write a thesis... After reading it, I remembered that the Tudor Dynasty had nothing to do with the origin of the public school. Mother Di is really embarrassed.

  • Bishop Gardiner: By order of their gracious majesties Queen Mary and King Philip, we are come to witness the burning of these protestant heretics, who have denied the authority of the One, true catholic Church and of His Holiness, the Pope. Let them burn for all eternity in the flames of hell!

  • Sir William Cecil, Lord Burghley: But you cannot marry Sir Robert! He's already married!
