In the American version of "Old Boy", Thanos actor Josh Brolin is the male lead, and Scarlet Witch actor Elizabeth Olsen is the female lead. The two have a passionate love action scene. I didn't expect that after only six years, Josh Brolin could say such "indifferent" words.

Generally speaking, the American version of "Old Boy" is more bloody than the Korean version, but the emotional delicacy is not as good as the Korean version.
In terms of reflecting the bloody metamorphosis, the American version of "Old Boy" uses a more direct and intuitive way to show it, just like the old American B-level film, which is simple and rude. Putting the bloody scene naked on the big screen does not require too much foreshadowing, just go to the plasma and finish it.
And the most important point is that the American version of "Old Boy" does not torture the characters as much as the Korean version. One of the most classic scenes in the Korean version of "Old Boy" is Wu Daxiu cutting off his tongue in order to keep a secret. In addition to living in pain, Joe doesn't seem to have done much self-harm.
In fact, subtracting the tongue is a very important echoing plot. Back then, Wu Daxiu caused the tragedy because of chewing his tongue. Now, cutting his tongue is his way of atonement. As the saying goes, misfortune comes out of the mouth, and an unintentional remark is likely to cause serious harm to others.
