After watching this movie, I thought a lot about my own personal experience. A world where poverty and wealth coexist, and how people travel in it.
When I was 12 years old, I went to Guangdong by myself. I was cheated of money on the way. I was fascinated by the billboards in the subway and on the highway. I was full of doubts about the crowd sleeping outside the train station. On a large display, most visible. People who travel with me are as full of expectations as I am, curious and cautious about everything outside. None of us enjoy the privileged life.
I saw my family work hard in an unfamiliar city, and that desperate seriousness and diligence saved our family. My parents didn't grow up with me, but they used their lives to teach me how to face the world.
Aren't the poor people on the road? No! They have their power.
