An adolescent girl who is not afraid of hardships and faces all the hardships of life bravely, living in a rental trailer, and an alcoholic and sick mother, although the job is hard to find and life is difficult, she still maintains a strong spirit. Self-respect, she won't let her mother eat the food given by the landlord who fools around with her. She strives for every job, a little stubborn and a little hysterical.
Twice I was unwilling to give up my job, I was pushed down the river by my mother and kept calling my mother, I took care of my alcoholic mother who was incapacitated, and faced a rude and ruthless landlord. Every day I passed the road where vehicles galloped across, and I secretly fished with a bottle. The scene is always wet and muddy, it always feels like it is raining lightly, the trailer and the rental house are small and dark, ... The real scene arrangement and design are a bit like a documentary, which all reflect the difficulty of life and her tenacious desire to survive.
What is particularly shocking is that she can betray her only friend, still like the boy she is good to her, and take the boss to expose the boy in person to get a job opportunity. Taking over this job, in the face of survival, none of this matters. It fully shows people's desire to survive.
The film was shot in DV in a documentary style. The camera was shaky throughout the whole process, and most of it was close-up. The sound also played an important role in the film. The ambient sound was noisy from the beginning to the end. Sensational, no music, and uncomfortable, but that's real life.
