This film is a manga adaptation of CG film, adapted from the popular Osaka chapter in the original. A lot of cuts and adaptations have been made to the plot and characters of the original work, but because of these simplifications, non-original audiences have a better acceptance of the movie.
The visual effects created by pure CG are very shocking, and the character modeling, weapon effects, monster skills, etc. are all beautiful. The characters that rely on the original work are very powerful, and almost every character that appears can be impressive. In particular, the sense of oppression and despair presented by the villain BOSS fully reflects the imagination of the original work.
Relatively high-quality pictures and characters, the plot is really weak. The typical protagonist fights monsters and upgrades to save the world. Moreover, in order to forcibly increase the protagonist's sense of growth, the first half of the male protagonist's character is so badly written that it takes a long time to hesitate to fire a gun, which is really painful. The emotional line is also very abrupt, and the characters fall in love at first sight. The semi-open ending is also very different, giving people a sense of confusion.
But in general, the high-quality CG special effects, the high degree of original reproduction in detail, and the excellent character settings make the whole movie very interesting. Because this animation made me have the urge to watch the original comics, its wonderful degree can be imagined.
