Putting horror movies together makes a new horror movie

Horror movies have it all.

A new home in the woods so far away.

A neighbor who is unfamiliar but very warm-hearted, knows a lot of secrets but doesn't say it in one breath.

One of the first animals to die.

A brave protagonist.

A scary little girl.

in addition:

The people near the new home seem strange at first glance.

Little girls (little boys) always draw some weird pictures.

Although there are many bad signs, there is always a person in the family who refuses to leave.

Those who have gone will come back.

No matter how many supernatural sound effects throughout the film, it is difficult for me to believe that this is an adaptation of Stephen King's original book, except for the ending. The characters wake up for no reason, fear for no reason, and get angry for no reason, and the desperation of this type is not shown at all, except for the ending. How to say the words of peace: It's almost the same as a normal horror movie! Um.

Generally speaking, reshoots will be bigger, if you want to make them smaller, you have to be more delicate. It's a pity that the script of this movie was changed to a smaller size, but it was not refined. I don't understand what this error in handling is all about. I don't know what the point is if it's just revamped to this extent and then remade. But if you haven't seen the old version, you can check it out. But I still recommend looking at the old version. This new version is really not interesting.

Pet Sematary quotes

  • Jud Crandall: It's not some campfire story.

[referring to the symbols on the trees from the drawing in the book]

Louis Creed: I saw these on the trees up there.

Jud Crandall: They're warnings. The local tribes carved them before they fled. They fear that place. There's something up there, something that dates way back.

  • Jud Crandall: It was a myth. Kids used to dare each other to go into the woods at night. They knew the power of that place. They feared it. Those woods belong to something else. The ground is bad. It maybe just some crazy folktale, but there is something up in those woods, something that brings things back. Sometimes dead is better.
