Just finished watching the first episode to record.
Gentleman Jack is her nickname. She seems to have many names. In the first episode of the boat scene, her partner calls her Freddy. Her real name is Anne Lister, and it's a really famous surname, Lister. I'm more interested when I hear that it's a real thing, and it's worth seeing than something made up out of nowhere.
There is an arch in her house, which is the door she walked through after killing the horse at the end of the first episode, which is almost identical to the one Elizabeth walked through in the opening credits of Pride and Prejudice in 2015. The stories are similar, they are all stories of rich people falling in love and drinking small wine, petty bourgeoisie and very simple - Austen, but gentleman Jack has an extra layer of les lace. I just watched "Moonlight Boy" yesterday, and not only now, I have always been quite fascinated by this subject.
Like "Downton Abbey", "Victoria", "Howard Abbey", and those who like Jane Austen, may wish to watch this show. The heroine V in "Killing Eve", and the heroine A in this "Gentleman Jack", have had opposite scenes in "Doctor Foster", although they don't like the scene of the heroine tearing up the scumbag, I also plan to watch it this summer when the drama is in short supply.
It has always been believed that a woman's love for a woman, or a man's love for a man, is more delicate and reliable than heterosexual love, because understanding not only understands where the G-spot of the body's structure is, but also understands the true desires of the heart.
