At the end of the film, Paul Getty's personal statue appears in the statues of the gods. Is he too narcissistic, or is director Ridley Scott really willing to admit his values? There is room for various interpretations. Old Ray has his own hand in shaping powerful figures, and Paul Getty is undoubtedly another person worth mentioning under his name. Therefore, the whole film discarded so many plots worth developing, perhaps in order not to obscure the main line of Paul Getty's values. This should have been a rare rich character worth playing in the film circle in recent years, but it was a pity that it couldn't get widespread attention because of Kevin Spacey's lace news.
