I saw the news of this drama in the x-letter. The descriptions of "Bruce Bruce's last work" and "real kung fu film" instantly made me swallow this Amway and watch five episodes in one go.
The first episode is really amazing. The protagonist's eyes, background settings, and action scenes are all eye-catching. The crew also spent an hour with sincerity to open up the situation for the show. Although the time is a little longer, it will not make people feel "can't sit still" because there is a lot of information.
But the more you go on, the more you feel that what this show expresses is too superficial, and many things are just a taste of it. It can clearly express something more profoundly, but it doesn't dig into the depths. Although most of the main characters are yellow-skinned, most of them are the images of Chinese people in the eyes of white people (or imagined). Maybe foreigners feel very excited and exciting when they watch it, but when I watch it, I often look confused.
And the relationship between the protagonist and Zun Shao is also very strange. Isn't the protagonist a thug, why did he inexplicably become Zun Shao's brother? There is no complete emotional excess in between, so every time I see Zun Shao's infinite tolerance and affection like the protagonist. Please, even if the protagonist is very good at fighting, he was just a capable thug in the beginning. As a "gang prince", the young master has no reason to show him so much kindness. Every time they are together, they feel that the protagonist is the boss and Zun Shao is just a line machine for the plot.
PS: The female body is indeed very eye-catching, but too much space will make the look and feel seriously decline. In many places, it is not necessary to express it so intensely?
