Do you want an obedient robot, or a real woman with a mind?

I started watching it for half an hour and was shocked.

So I pulled someone to watch it again.

If technology in the future world really reaches such a level (very likely), will the future world usher in a world of equal rights, or a more patriarchal world? And such "male power", is it really just a man's yearning?

This movie is undoubtedly a good question to this point. Until the end, I couldn't help but think about such a question. (Don't worry, no spoilers) So, in that era, in the late 1990s, such an idea was still very good.

The way of performance is a little bit old-fashioned.

The narrative is classic.

In the end, Nick became a sweet wife, so beautiful!

I have to say that in the end, Nicole stood in the dark with tears flashing, and she was so beautiful!

    Strong women are really stressful!

The Stepford Wives quotes

  • Joanna Eberhart: We're trespassing!

Bobbie Markowitz: Only if we get caught.

  • Walter Kresby: She's not a robot. She never was. I couldn't do it.

    Mike Wellington: Why not?

Walter Kresby: Because she's not a science project. Because I didn't marry something from RadioShack.

    Mike Wellington: That's a shame.

Joanna Eberhart: No. That's a man.
