Immortality is the end of humanity. When the only justice in the world, "death" is eliminated, how will the balance of human society protect itself? "altered carbon" does a great discussion. This is my favorite, hard sci-fi with philosophical thinking. The soul can be backed up and uploaded to any body, but only the class who can afford it has this kind of immortality. Having lost the reverence for death, what can restrain? An empty soul or a spineless AI, which is more worthy of being called a human? These issues can actually be dig deeper. Rather than a very commercial one-off. When it comes to business, this drama still deserves more than 7 points. There are several slots that separate this show from the masterpiece: 1.
