Not my type.
It is undeniable that Colette's life is really wonderful, talented and tossing. Many things are still shocking today, but I really don't understand what this film is trying to express. Before watching the film, forgive my ignorance, I didn't know that there was such a female writer in the 19th century. After watching the film, I didn't know much about her. If the director just wants to record the story of this legendary figure, it will be boring, and it is better to make a documentary. This film made me feel like a cruise ship passing by on the water, the ship passed without a trace, leaving nothing behind.
