They were all plainclothes in action, and none of them wore bulletproof vests. Look at the first three seasons in Colombia, where Panna was fully armed every time. Remember, Mexico is a prequel, right?
Colombia is considered a pure land now, and Mexico is still in a mess. From time to time, I hear news about drug-related vendettas, assaults on police and other terrorist incidents in Mexico. I am looking forward to the next season.
It would be better to add some tidbits at the end of the film. After all, a lot of the plots are adapted from real events, and many of the parties are still alive. It is more realistic to let them be interviewed on TV. The core value of this show is authenticity, right?
